  • October 18th: DDLM Ancestor Altar workshop (11-1PM) HYBRID workshop! Workshop will be facilitated by La Lobita

Viva La Matriz! Bajo Steam Workshop

Join us for our upcoming bajo steaming workshop on Saturday, March 8th. This is a 2 hour introduction to the traditional practice of bajo steaming (more modernly known as yoni steam). Bajos are an ancient womb care practice intended to cleanse and heal your wombs health, both  physically and spiritually. This practice has been preserved and passed down from generation to generation and is a staple healing practice of Mexican Traditional Medicine.

Sacred Medicine: Healing with Indigenous

Join us for our upcoming healing series “Sacred Medicine: Healing with Prayer & Indigenous Plant Medicine” on Friday, June 21, from 6-7PM. This learning session will be taught by an Elder, healer, and teacher from Gila River Indian Community who will share her wisdom and knowledge of the usage of sacred herbs and their use in prayer. 

In this series, we will learn about the following indigenous medicines: sage, cedar, sweetgrass, shegoi (creosote), copal, frankincense, and palo santo.

This is a private event and has limited seating. We are asking for a donation of $10-20 for this session (scholarships are available).
